African Women’s Collective

10 February 2026 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

We’re really pleased to invite you to a special session with West Yorkshire Police, who will be joining the African Women’s Collective to talk about how to report a crime, what your rights are, and what support is available.

Many women in our community have told us they don’t always feel confident navigating the system or knowing what happens after a report is made. This session is designed to make things clearer and answer any questions.

We’ll cover:

  • When and how to report a crime

  • What happens after you make a report

  • Your rights as a victim or witness

  • How to stay safe and get support

  • How the police work with communities across Leeds

There will be time for questions and discussion.

As always, the session is relaxed and open to all African women in Leeds.
