Conference for Women of Black Heritage

March 31 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Leeds Involving People, working in partnership with West Yorkshire Police and the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership, is hosting a conference for women of Black heritage to come together, share experiences, and help shape real change around violence against women and girls.

Violence against women and girls remains a serious issue, and too often experiences go unheard. This event will provide a safe, supportive space for women to talk openly about what needs to change and help influence future support, services and action across Leeds and West Yorkshire.

The insights shared will contribute to a report going to the Home Office to help inform future strategy.

This is about turning lived experience into practical solutions that protect women now and help build a safer future for generations to come.

What to expect:
• A welcoming and supportive space
• Opportunities to share experiences and ideas
• Lunch and refreshments provided
• A £20 shopping voucher as a thank you for taking part

Places are limited and booking is essential: https://forms.office.com/e/pcgFZmUXTT
