In April 2017, LIP supported Leeds Adults and Health in holding a Your Health, Your Say conference which was promoted specifically to the BAME community. LIP helped to develop the agenda for the day to ensure that it was culturally representative and appropriate. We also supported members wishing to share their experiences, carried out administration and co-ordinated travel arrangements. The event was a great success with over 187 people attending on the day and guest speakers, councillors and commissioners all present.
